SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern will launch its new website design on July 8, 2026. We have revamped and redesigned our website for you—visually, in terms of content, and in terms of usability. The new site is designed to offer you even better service and provide you with the information you need simply, quickly, and reliably.
High-performance and tailored to your needs
The results of surveys and discussions with employees and customers have been incorporated into the redesign. A modern website requires the latest technology. We use a system optimized for large websites that loads quickly and runs smoothly.
It is important to us that everyone can use the SWK website. That is why we have optimized the colors, contrasts, font sizes, and metadata to improve the site’s accessibility. We are committed to fostering a sense of community in the region. This ensures that the site is accessible to everyone.
Clarity, Guidance, and Speed
The transition was a challenging and comprehensive project in which we paid close attention to detail. Not only was the technology updated, but the structure and design were also completely revamped. The new, simplified navigation makes it easier to find your way around. Content has been consolidated, shortened, and restructured so that you can absorb it more easily and quickly.
In addition, the site has been optimized for use on various devices and browsers. For example, more and more visitors are accessing the site via their smartphones.

Of course, you should still be able to find SWK and our topics on the new site and recognize SWK as an established and trusted company. That is why we have made these changes with care and attention to detail.
Navigation is now even more intuitive and focused. The top section remains the same and familiar, while the bottom section adapts to your needs. This helps you find what you’re looking for faster.
So that everyone can find exactly what interests them
We have tailored the content to the needs of our various target groups. Whether you are a private customer, a business customer, or part of the public sector as a representative of a municipality or local government—you’ll find the information that’s relevant to you here. We’ve also dedicated separate sections to public transportation and the housing industry.
Everything in its place, help at a glance
All the information on each topic is consolidated in one place. There are overview pages instead of nested menus. This way, you can see everything important at a glance.
In the dark blue help section at the bottom of each page, contact information, answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs), additional documents, and relevant links round out the information provided.
The new Help Desk section is the central point of contact for all support requests, designed to efficiently assist users. There is a separate customer service section that serves as the first point of contact for questions and issues. A growing number of help and information articles provide answers to your questions on a wide range of topics at any time.
If a visitor is ever unable to find what they’re looking for, a more powerful search feature will help guide them to the desired content in the future.
Close collaboration with the blog (online customer magazine)
Some sections containing more general information and topics have been moved from the website to this SWK blog, SWK’s online customer magazine. The SWK website includes links to the blog where appropriate, and vice versa. This keeps the information concise and easy to navigate.
